About Project

Cycle Towards the Music!

Tour de Picnic began in 2009 as a small cycling fundraiser. Event Fuel Director Brian McDermott took 30 participants and cycled 80K from Dublin to Electric Picnic, raising funds for charity. Due to the charitable nature, great message and the exhilarating challenge involved in this event, entry to Electric Picnic at the finish line was then granted to participants in the years following.
